Five steps, and we do four of them.
Most people arrive here having never ordered medical equipment before, usually in a week that is already difficult. This is exactly what happens, in order.
- 1
Tell us what happened
Not what model you want. What changed. “She fell in the bathroom.” “He is coming home Friday and cannot climb stairs.” That is the useful information.
- One phone call or one form
- No billing codes required
- We request the physician's order if you do not have one
- 2
We work out what actually helps
Sometimes the answer is less equipment than you expected. A $40 raised toilet seat solves more problems than a $2,000 chair in more homes than you would think.
- Honest recommendation, not an upsell
- We tell you what you do not need
- Sizing and fit questions handled here
- 3
You get the cost in writing
We verify your benefits and confirm coverage, then tell you your out-of-pocket cost. If insurance will not cover it, you hear that from us rather than finding out on a bill.
- Your cost explained before delivery
- Covered and self-pay separated clearly
- Rental option if you cannot wait
- 4
We deliver and set it up
Equipment arrives assembled and ready to use. We place it in the room where it will be used and show the caregiver how everything works before we leave.
- Fast local delivery
- Delivered assembled, ready to use
- We show the caregiver how it works
- 5
We stay reachable
Something breaks, something does not fit, something needs to come back. One number, and a person answers it.
- Call us if the fit is wrong
- Tell us if something stops working
- We arrange collection when you are done
If a discharge is scheduled
Work backwards from the discharge date, not forwards from today.
The most common reason a discharge slips is that nobody ordered the equipment until the morning it was needed. Here is the timeline that works.
3-5 days out
Call us with the discharge date
We start benefit verification and request the physician's order. Nothing is committed yet.
1-2 days out
Confirm the room and the access
Doorway widths, stairs, where the bed goes. We solve problems now instead of on the doorstep.
Discharge day
We deliver and set up
Tell us the time they are expected home and we schedule the delivery around it.
Short notice is still fine. Calling early just gives us room to get insurance sorted instead of putting you on a rental to start.
Before you call
Helpful, but not required.
If you have these, the call is faster. If you do not, call anyway. We can find most of it ourselves.
